watercolor DIY Vase
Material:

Mod hodgepodge gloss
2 glass Container (which fits in the other)
foam brush
watercolor
watercolor paper
brush

step 1: Collect your supplies and cut to fit a piece of watercolor paper in your glass. The best jars are not tapered; they have straight sides.
This will contribute to compliance with facilitate the paper on the inside of the tank. You’ll also have a smaller glass will need to fit into the larger glass. I found both of my jars at Hobby Lobby for under $4!
step 2: Use your watercolors to paint the paper. You could also do this project with a scrapbook, wrapping paper or leftover Wallpaper!
Then I went back and swashes added color, blending as I went and adding more water than is necessary to mix together the colors. Let dry completely.
step 3: Once paper is completely dry, coat the inside of the glass with Mod-hodgepodge. Insert your paper and press firmly, and hold it to the glass. Once dry, apply several layers of Mod smorgasbord on the paper, let it dry between the layers.
step 4: once dry, take your smaller container and plug it into your larger. Since Mod is a hodgepodge’t waterproof, you won’t want to add water directly onto your vase.
Cut your flowers, put them in your vase, and you’re done! I really love how this turned out; the colors are perfect for my decor, and I always love an excuse to buy fresh flowers!
