How Mod-hodgepodge of a Dollar-store mirror
If you are looking for a really great dollar store crafts, this DIY diva mirror is just the thing. I revised it with pretty paper, paint and Mod-smorgasbord.
I’ve noticed recently that one thing, the Shop has dollar abundant (except for the frames and wreaths. Oh, and fake flowers) is a mirror.
I grabbed with the intention of fixing it save with items in my stash – transforming something from the dollar is a good way to use up extra consumption of materials, such as paper and cloth.

How to Paint Dollar Store mirror
Collect These Supplies
level – of any kind, as long as it’s not plastic
FolkArt acrylic paint – Aqua
Sparkle Mod hotchpotch
Scrapbook-paper – colors and patterns of your choice
keys – the coordination with the paper
EK Success 1 inch punch-scallop
Mini screwdriver set – removal of parts
Here’s in my mirror. And just a note – I tried to make it look like it was my hair, but it didn’t work.
My mirror had some sort of coating on it, so I removed all the small parts and sanded them. Wipe off the sanding dust with a tack cloth or damp paper towel.
Paint the wood with Aqua. You need multiple layers. Set aside to dry.

Start laying out the shapes on the mirror to find out your design. I also used my favorite scallop punch to make some shapes.
Mod-conglomeration of the forms on the mirror and let them dry for about 15 – 20 minutes.
Add a top jacket Sparkle Mod smorgasbord so that the mirror really bling.
