How to ship a project That already Podged
Learn how to ship a craft project, the Mod-Podged has! A destroyed Chaos avoid, to the receiver’s page with these practical tips.
poor Jaime. She sent this very sweet present to a friend:
When it arrived, it was done:
I call it “ModPodgus Stickitus.” Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done to fix this Problem, once the damage has been done.
Note that the Mod-hodgepodge takes a while to heal . . . and that means, to reduce the tackiness even after drying. In General, if you make something, you’re shipping it soon after. So you need to follow these steps!
How do you send a Mod hodgepodge project
step One: Make sure that your project is DRY. That doesn’t healed, not necessarily completely, but it means “wet.” Don’t finish your project, and then pack it up 15 minutes later.
Let it dry for at least 24 hours . . . and the longer the better. If you are in a humid climate – even longer.
step Two: When you ship, packaging, transport or move in any other way, with Mod-hodgepodge, you should protect an acrylic sealer to.
We never know what will be the conditions (could be really Hot to get the truck shipment, it is your project) – the Mod-hodgepodge, sticky, very slightly.
Use you have managed any acrylic sealer, but I highly recommend the Mod smorgasbord of brands-acrylic-sealers, because they are affordable, and won’t yellow. You can stores online (click the link) and from the crafts.
step Three: I learned this from professionals Mod Podgers! Some of the Glad Press’n seal around the project before packing. Whatever the reason, it’t stick that is won is awesome.
wax paper also works, but I like the Press’n seal, since it folds around the edges easier (and it also sticks to itself).
Note that the above rules apply when stacking Mod hodgepodge of projects in your Cabinet or in any manner, by you in close contact with each other. The gloss formulas, especially ** floor not want to, if it’s sealed.
good luck and happy shipping!!!
